Tellus Mater Meadow - October Foraging Hike & Fungi Hunt

Come along to Tellus Mater Meadow this September to be guided around both the beautiful surrounding area on a hike with Lizzy from Tellus Mater who will take you on a wander to seek delectable hedgerow and woodland edibles that are full of surprising flavours.

We will be looking for edible wild fruits, herbs, mushrooms and plants that are all around us and along the way gently teaching you key identification features/preferred habitats to give a good introduction to foraging for your own wild food journey going forwards.

There will be a chance to sample some wild food makes and bakes brought along by your host to show how easy it can be to incorporate your finds into everyday meals and cooking.

We will be covering good foraging practice, preservation techniques and what species to look out for in the coming months after your foraging session with Lizzy.
