At Tellus Mater, we believe that nature holds the key to both eating better, healing and well-being. We invite you to embark on a journey of discovery through our guided walks and other events.
Our mission is to softly guide you through the hidden treasures of the wild, showing you how to identify and appreciate the abundance of wild foods. By taking part on one (or more!), of our guided walks, you will gain the knowledge and confidence to forage for wild foods including fruits, herbs, mushrooms and plants, and how to embrace a deeper connection to the environment by harvesting them both sustainably and with love.
Our walks and events are designed to provide a calming and rejuvenating experience, encouraging mindfulness and relaxation amidst the beauty of the great outdoors. Through our carefully curated sessions, you will learn to tune in to the sights, sounds, and scents of nature, finding both childlike excitement again, and hopefully a pathway to a bit more calm and joy in a world that often moves too fast.

Our expert guides will lead you through lush landscapes, teaching you how to safely identify, harvest, and use wild foods. Whether you're a seasoned forager or a curious newbie, our walks are paced to cater to all levels of experience.

Forest Bathing
Step away from the noise and into the embrace of the forest with our guided forest bathing sessions. Originating in Japan as "Shinrin-yoku," forest bathing involves immersing yourself in the forest atmosphere to enhance health and happiness. Our sessions are led by trained guides who will help you engage all your senses. This gentle, meditative practice is perfect for reducing stress and reconnecting with nature’s healing rhythms.
